College Transitions 1-to-1 Tutoring

Study with knowledgeable tutors to improve your scores on Reading and Math college placement tests (Accuplacer). Learn effective study habits and receive advising and guidance as you prepare yourself for college

Biology with Lab

For any and all students who are preparing for admissions review for competitive majors, this is an excellent opportunity to meet the admissions “Biology with lab” prerequisite. If you have been away from science courses for a while, this course is recommended to prep you for rigorous college science classes. 

Schedule: This is a fully remote, asynchronous, self-paced course available online. The course will be available beginning March 1, 2021. Sign up here.

Chemistry with Lab

For any and all students who are prepping for Nursing or Medical Laboratory Technology admissions review, this is an excellent opportunity to meet the admissions “Chemistry with lab” prerequisite. If you have been away from science courses for a while, this course is recommended to to help you prepare.

English for College

This distance learning course will prepare you to take the Next-Generation Accuplacer Test in Reading Comprehension and teach you skills needed for college-level English classes. All classes are held on Zoom.

Mathematics for College


Part I- Prepare for the Next Gen Accuplacer test in Arithmetic during this ten week distance learning course. Class is held weekly on Zoom and students will use Schoology to access assignments and quizzes. This course is recommended for beginning math students who need to rebuild the foundational math skills and concepts needed for more advanced math studies.

Schedule: 3/24 – 6/2, Wednesdays, 4:00 – 5:30 PM. Sign up here.

Part II- Prepare for the Next Gen Accuplacer test in Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra and Statistics (QRAS) during this ten week distance learning course. Class is held weekly on Zoom and students will use Schoology to access assignments and quizzes. Students entering this course should be fluent in basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) and have confidence working with fractions.
